    By Alexander Cornwell DUBAI -Dubai’s state airport operator is hoping for a “flood” of travelers as the coronavirus pandemic eases, targeting passenger traffic through Dubai International Airport to grow 8% to 28 million this year as demand rebuilds. Terminal 1 is reopening this Thursday after a 15-month closure. Operations were consolidated through Terminals 2 and 3 last year as the pandemic took hold. “People think it will trickle back.     flydubai has announced the start of a twice-weekly service to Ankara Esenboga International Airport (ESB) from 29 July. Ankara will become flydubai’s second destination in Turkey after Istanbul (IST) which is currently served with a daily flight. flydubai also added two destinations in Turkey to its seasonal summer schedule.     Flydubai is set to become the first UAE airline to fly direct to Slovenia.
