Three hundred new tour routes have recently been launched in China. They provide tourists with a closer look at the country’s poverty alleviation achievements and help rural revitalization, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The first quarter of this year saw China’s rural tourist sites receive a total of 984 million visits. This is up 5.2 percent compared with the same period in 2019, according to estimates from a rural tourism monitoring center.
