Himachal Pradesh’s ‘Amarnath’: Ice lingam gets tourists | Shimla News

MANALI: The 25-foot high Shiva lingam made of snow and ice at Anjani Mahadev temple near Manali has become a major attraction as hundreds of tourists are reaching here every day to see the miracle of nature.
This ice lingam, due to which the place is called the Amarnath of Himachal, is naturally formed every year during the winter season and s major toursit attraction.

As Solang and nearby areas have no snow, the Anjani Mahadev temple area serves as the main snow point for tourists. The place is a 1km trek from Solang.
A tourist from Haryana, Satish Chaudhary, said he was told about the place by a guid. “I had heard about Amarnath, but never heard or read about this temple. This is really a miracle,” he said.
