Electric Cars To Be Launched In Pakistan By End-2021: Amin – UrduPoint

ISLAMABAD, Jun 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Jun, 2021 ) :Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam Thursday said the most-awaited electric cars would be launched in Pakistan by end-2021 under Electric Vehicle (EV) policy.

Talking to a private news channel, he said it would help boost economy, reduce pollution level and generate employment opportunities in the country.

The special assistant said Pakistan had already introduced electric motorcycles and rickshaws in a bid to reduce carbon emissions in line with its ‘Green Pakistan‘ campaign.

Amin was of the view that the electric motorcycles, rickshaws and cars were the future of the country’s transportation system.
