Travel News – Health Ministry supporting efforts to revive inbound tourism: Dr Harsh Vardhan

Addressing delegates via video conferencing at the inaugural edition of the hybrid India Tourism Mart (ITM), Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, said that his ministry is supporting Ministry of Tourism’s efforts in reviving international tourism to India. 

“I am sure, you are already aware that 80% of our domestic flights are operating.  We have already started issuing medical visas and we are planning to soon restart E-Tourist Visas and schedule international flights in a phased manner. On a reciprocal basis, first with those countries with which we have an air bubble agreement,” Dr Vardhan said.
